About the client
Since 2006, the company has stored and exported table grapes and plums grown in Moldova to partners in the European Union and CIS countries. It has a cold store with refrigeration chambers, a receiving hall and a sorting and packing line, and offers these services to other Moldovan growers too.
The challenge
The company's partners are importers from other countries who want to know quickly which varieties are available, in which month, in what packaging and with which documents. The website had to answer these questions in their language and earn the trust of a buyer who has never visited the warehouse.
The solution
I built the page like a sales sheet: about the company, varieties, availability calendar, packaging, services, certificates and contact. Information an importer usually asks for by email (seasons, packaging sizes, documents) is now on the website, in four languages.
What the website includes
- Romanian, Russian, English and French versions, with correct Google settings for each language
- Table grape varieties (Black Magic, Moldova, Belyi Suruchenskyi, Yalovenskii Ustoichivyi) and plum varieties (Stanley, President)
- Monthly availability calendar for each variety
- Specifications for four packaging types: capacity and dimensions
- Services for growers: processing and sorting, packing, cold storage, export
- List of export documents: phytosanitary certificate, safety certificate and EUR1, Form A and CT-1 certificates of origin
- Photo gallery and contact section with a booking button
- Packaging carousel that respects the visitor's “reduce motion” setting
How I worked
- Content — I gathered the information on varieties, season, packaging and documents and ordered it around an importer's questions.
- UX/UI design — I put the fruit photos at the centre and presented the technical data in short, easy-to-compare blocks.
- Development — I built the website with Next.js, with separate pages for each language and fast loading.
- Testing — I checked the calendar, the carousel and all four languages on phone and desktop.
Result
The company has a website it can send to any partner abroad, in their language, with everything they need to know before the first order.
